Low-Carb Vanilla Powder Full Ingredients
I have been using this on and off since it was called Ausilent. I am really enjoying these since my medication give me appetite suppressant and can't eat sometimes. I have this for breakfast and lunch, which leaves me feeling hydrated and full. Tips:
1. If you make it the night before it will be nice and fresh, also won't be as gritty as some people say.
2. Pour your water/liquid first, then add the powered and shaker ball. This prevents the powder getting stuck in the bottom, like others have said.
3. Vanilla is more like a powder milk, so this is good with adding flavors, fruits, etc. It can be a little clumpier that the choc, so ensure you have 550ml water or more and shake well.
4. Choc is more molt choc, really lite and not heavy. This is good, you don't want to be drinking a full choc flavor every day, you will get sick of it fast.
5. Don't guzzle it, just make it and drink over 5min or so. You will enjoy it more and will fill you up better.
6. If you have never had a liquid diet before, you will 100% feel hungry for the first few days/weeks when you do this. Your stomach needs to adjust to the liquid diet and will shrink.
7. Don't eat on-top of having the drink, you will just gain weight...
8. Keep a jug of cold water in the fridge, you can use this to make a fresh cold shake on the go.
9. My enjoyment ratio is 55g of powder to 600 - 650ml ice cold water. It is nice and liquidy (not thick and glumpy like some have said)
10. Enjoy :)
Vanilla is not nice, chocolate is okay. No markings on the shaker, no scoop/measuring cup with the pack. Expected more for the price, especially for a 'starter pack'.
Solid meal replacement shake, love the vanilla. Can't say the same about chocolate, but you can't win them all.
Purchased the vanilla and chocolate low-carb shakes to start. I'm no stranger to meal replacement shakes, but I have to say, these taste terrible. The closest thing I can compare them to is gritty liquid weetbix. I've had to purchase some sugar free flavourings and powdered peanut butter to add to these to get them down. I had high hopes, but not sure I'd recommend them based on my experience.
Tastes really nice. Love that I can add more calories if I need them with some olive oil. Added a scoop of matcha powder and it tastes delicious!
