BETTER NUTRITION THROUGH INNOVATION
Using the Australian Food Standards as our guide, we've created a natural and nutritionally balanced blend of the essential elements required for human health.
Using the Australian Food Standards as our guide, we've created a natural and nutritionally balanced blend of the essential elements required for human health.
The ingredients in our formulation have been carefully selected to meet the complete Australian nutrient reference values and food standards for human health. Our formulation has been extensively tested by our innovation team and tweaked with feedback from our customers.
Ground from whole oats, oat flour is a highly nutritious source of carbohydrates. Containing manganese, thiamin, phosphorous and selenium, oat flour is also packed with beta-glucan, a soluble fibre that helps improve cholesterol, heart health, and blood sugar levels. Our oats are sourced from South Australia.
Whey protein is a high-quality, complete protein derived from milk during the cheese-making process. It contains all nine essential amino acids necessary for human health and which the body cannot synthesize. Whey is particularly rich in branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), especially leucine, which is crucial for stimulating muscle protein synthesis, making it popular for muscle building and recovery after exercise, as well as supporting overall metabolic health. Our whey protein is sourced from Victoria
Soy protein isolate is a complete protein, meaning it contains all the essential amino acids the body needs but cannot produce on its own. These amino acids are important for building and repairing tissues, producing hormones and enzymes, and supporting immune function
CARBORHYDRATE
Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate powder derived from food-grade wheat starch. We use maltodextrin (along with oat flour) in our formulation to meet the recommended values for energy by carbohydrates. Maltodextrin is highly soluble and provides a smooth texture when blended with water. Having a smooth texture in the prepared drink has been key feedback from customers for our products
MCT OIL
MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) are a type of fat found in coconut and palm kernels. MCTs are beneficial because they are quickly absorbed and used by the body for energy. Our MCT oil is certified as produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, and traceability is maintained throughout the manufacturing process (RSPO Mass Balance Certification).
LECITHIN
Lecithin is extracted from soybean oil and its primary function is as an emulsifier, meaning it stabilises mixtures of ingredients that naturally separate, like oil and water. Lecithin in the formulation gives Qota a smooth, uniform texture when blended. Lecithin is primarily a mix of fats called phospholipids and contains nutritional omega fats that are necessary for human health.
DIETARY FIBRE
Inulin is a natural prebiotic fibre extracted from plants (chicory root). It supports digestive health by feeding beneficial gut bacteria, promoting a healthy microbiome. As a soluble fibre, inulin helps regulate digestion and it adds minimal calories while enhancing texture in foods. Inulin also helps you feel fuller longer and supports regular bowel movements, making it a valuable addition to a balanced diet
SALT
Salt, primarily composed of sodium chloride, is essential for human health and survival. It helps regulate fluid balance, supports nerve function, and enables muscle contractions. The overall sodium level in a serving of Qota is in line with the Suggested Dietary Target (SDT) for sodium intake in adults aged 18 years and older.
VITAMINS
Our product contains a comprehensive blend of essential vitamins supporting your overall health. These include vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, and K, plus biotin, folate, niacin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, and thiamin. Together, they support energy metabolism, immune function, healthy skin, strong bones, psychological wellbeing, and cellular health. Each serving provides recommended servings of your daily requirements, ensuring you receive balanced nutritional support for optimal physical and mental performance throughout your day.
MINERALS
We've included a full range of essential minerals to fuel your body's fundamental processes. From calcium and magnesium for bone strength and muscle function, to iron and zinc for immunity and energy, each mineral plays a specific role. Trace minerals like selenium, copper, and chromium support metabolism, antioxidant protection, and nutrient processing. With the recommended daily values per serving, our mineral blend provides the foundation your body needs for peak performance and long-term health.

Every QOTA meal delivers 26 essential vitamins and minerals. Getting
your full complement of vitamins and minerals ensures you’re operating
at your very best and delivers 145 health benefits, scientifically

Vitamin D is often called the sunshine vitamin - but despite our sunny climate in Australia, around 1/3 of Aussies are deficient in Vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential to regulate the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, to facilitate normal immune system function and supporting normal growth and development of bones and teeth
Want to avoid scurvy?! Vitamin C can’t be stored in the body, so you need it in your diet every day. Vitamin C protects cells, maintains healthy skin, helps to absorb iron, supports the immune system, and maintains cartilage, bones, and teeth.
Almost 99% of the body’s calcium is found in the bones. There, it combines with other minerals to give your bones strength and structure. Some calcium is also required for heart, muscle, blood and nerve function. If you don’t get enough calcium in your diet, your body takes it from your bones which affects bone density and increases the risk of osteoporosis.
Zinc is an essential mineral delivering an amazing 16 health benefits - but your body cannot make it on its own! Zinc aids in metabolism, digestion, nerve function and many other processes. In addition, it’s critical for the development and function of immune cells.
Macronutrients are the three main nutrients that make up our food. We
need these in large quantities to be healthy - hence the name macro -
but the particular ratio can depend on your goals
Protein is an essential nutrient for the human body and the building block of lean muscle. Protein is made from amino acids which are broken down and absorbed during digestion. There are 9 essential amino acids required for human health.
Fats are primarily used for energy. Two essential fats are required for human health – omega 3 and omega 6. Both are polyunsaturated fatty acids, with omega-3 a crucial part of human cell membranes. The human body cannot produce either omega 3 or 6 so you must get them from your food.
Carbs are our body’s main source of fuel, and a necessary component of proper cellular function. Healthy carbohydrates help maintain healthy blood sugar, fuel your brain, and give your body energy to burn fat for weight loss.
A balanced blend of macros delivers sustained energy and improved satiety.
