I've now received my 3rd pack (on subscription) that contains what appears to be bits of rancid oil(?). Essentially, small clumps of oily powder with a foul taste that basically ruin any drink I try to make.

I reported the issue to Qota after the first bag - they sent me a replacement from the same batch that had the same issue (which I also reported). I recently received my 3rd bag from a different batch but it has the same issue. Clearly no interest in resolving the problem (despite the suggestion that they'd raise it to their QA team) - a real shame since I've been buying from Aussielent (now Qota) pretty much since day 1 and turned a number of friends onto it. Will no longer recommend.

*edit* In response to Qota's response: The "hard" chunks of lecithin (if that's what it is?) are visible in the powder before it's mixed with water. 3 bags in a row have had this issue - no bag *ever* since you launched the product like a decade ago (I've been a customer that long!) has had this before. You can go and open a bag right now (or I can send my *three* back if you want!) and see it just by spreading the powder out a little. All of this was communicated previously to the support team along with images clearly demonstrating the problem.

Glad to hear the problem is apparently with me, not the product though. 10/10 customer service right there!

FWIW, I'm writing this because I *care* about your product. I just wish Qota did too.

Delisious and filling

I was interested in this product especially as a Melbournian but while it advertises Omega-3s it actually contains mostly Omega-6s in a really unhealthy ratio. In not sure why, since the ingredients don't least added seed oils, but it would be very easy for the correct omega ratio to be achieved cheaply enough using flax or chia which have a 4:1 3-6 ratio and fit the flavour profile or use algal oil which again would be more suitable than fish oil. Otherwise I'd really love the product. But I can't consume something that's well known to be a health hazard and especially when the product purports to be aware of things like this, it makes me want to deep dive the other nutrients to be certain it's what I need because I seems like such an simple to avoid oversight. If you can improve the ratio you would have a much better product.
Would also love to see more Australian ingredients here, most of the listed ingredients are not expensive and easily sourced on home soil. International food standards can become really important in protein concentrates because heavy metals are also often concentrated.

Personally my favourite flavour,very filling fast meal for a busy full-time working mother of 4.
I also like the limited edition birthday cake flavour for a change as well.

I've been using meal replacement powders for a number of years now. Unfortunately, this one wasn't great. The flavouring was very mild so the overpowering taste was of unflavoured whey power.

All good. The sale got me back buying again.

Quite happy with the shakes I bought. They're really good for work since I never know if I can prep or buy food so being able to just pour water into a shake for a meal is great.

The coffee flavored one doesn't have the strongest taste but the salted caramel and preprepared chocolate ones are good, will be ordering more soon.

I have disability issues which make food and eating difficult. I ordered some soylent to see if it could help me solve a nutrition problem. Initially I didn't find luck with it because for me the satiety factor was low, I would drink it and feel really hungry. I worked with it and I think I have the problem solved. I ordered some packets of instant oats. I prepare the oats with as minimal water as I need from the kettle to get the oats to dissolve. I let the oats cool down because I don't want to risk cooking any nutrients out of the soylent. I add the full amount of soylent and then for extra calories I put in enough milk to cover it and mix it in. The end mixture is thick and can be eaten with a spoon. Whether its the additional fibre from the oats, or the more solid food factor the resulting mixture leaves me satiated.

If I want to make it tastier I can add a banana and some caramel syrup.

Disappointed.

The product itself is good. I feel satisfied for a decent time afterward, so it functions well.
The flavour leaves much to be desired
It's like someone sneezed and it vaguely sounded like they said 'salted caramel'
It's just a weird texture (understandable given its powder so that can be forgiven lol) combined with almost no flavour to begin with, and a salted caramel aftertaste.

I'm not sure if or how you could improve on how the flavour presents itself, but it was definitely more palatable after adding some caramel syrup. Maybe some extra cocoa powder for the chocolate.
The flavours are almost flavours but not really much of anything?

I dont know how useful or relevant that feedback is, but outside of the flavour (which ultimately isnt horrible, but its hold your breath and chase level bland on the initial taste lol) I definitely enjoy the product, as I've been using it for quick meals when I dont have the time or willpower and would otherwise skip eating, so very helpful and will definitely continue to use!

Tried the salted caramel - tasted terrible and was unable to mask the flavour with anything I tried.
Coffee flavour is good when you add some extra coffee (or make into smoothie with banana and peanut butter).

I tried aussielent several years ago ( vanilla flavor ) and to be honest even though it was great for my busy lifestyle I feel the product was not really great. However after several years, your website pop up into my radar and was willing to give it a go again. Even thou there was several things out of stock of time of purchase. I was happy with what I purchased and will no doubt order again.

it was good. I got a sample of the vanilla drink and the caramel powder. I thought the drink was gross, but I'm happy with the powder and plan on buying it again. It smells great and is mostly tasless. it tastes a bit like playdough, but mostly water. great way to get nutrients when I don't have time or I'm struggling with my mental health.

The product seems ok, too early to tell... I never got my 10% discount and no one has got back to me when I reached out.

I went for salted caramel but unfortunately it didn't have much flavour, a hint of rice really. That's all. It's fills a hole but not the flavour it says it is
