We have three shakers and all three have developed cracks in the lids, splitting on the outside of the threaded part. We only handwash them and don't tighten them that much. Dishwasher-safe shakers would be even more convenient - what will happen if these go in the dishwasher?

Sorry about the shakers - generally we don't have a problem with the lids - we use these at home ourselves and don't have any issues running them through the dishwasher.
I've arranged to send you some new shakers and also a bonus birthday cake pouch.
Never had a problem with it, closes firmly.
